It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 3rd AUGUST, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be  scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Taninthyi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7 - 11) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
