BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th September, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be Isolated in Upper-Sagaing Region and Shan state scattered in Lower -Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway and Yangon Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls inTaninthayi Region . Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3 -6)feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
