SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from the Southern Myanmar area (over the whole country). Weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Yangon Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Magway Region and isolated heavy falls in Bago Region and Northern Shan State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Thipaw (3.73)inches, Pyay (3.18)inches, Saw (2.41)inches, Gyobingauk (2.06)inches, Machanbaw (1.97)inches, Kyaukmae (1.89)inches, Nyaungshwe (1.61)inches and Kyaukhtu (1.56)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in (Northern and Southern)Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (2 - 5)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
