BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (06:30) MST today, a low pressure area has formed over the North Aadaman sea. It may further intensify into a depression during next (24) hours. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North West Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 21st October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Kayah State, scattered in (Southern and Eastern) Shan and Rakhine States and isolated in Naypyitaw and Magway Region with isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9-12)feet Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 -7)feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.
