17-11-2025:  According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Sri Lanka Coast) has reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards during the next 24 hours.. Weather a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Deltaic areas still persists. Weather is  cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and East Central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and isolated heavy falls in Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
