SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Naypyitaw, Shan, Chin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway and Bago Regions, Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Naypyitaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri) (2.95)inches, Naypyitaw Airport(Ela) (2.28)inches, Pyinmana(Walgyi) (1.93) inches, Kengtung (1.49)inches, Loilin (1.18)inches, Namsam (0.95)inch and Pyinmana (0.90)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region, Shan, Chin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, scattered in Magway and Bago Regions, Kachin and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.
