SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State, isolated in Taninthayi Region and weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and Magway Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperatures in Northern Shan State, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago and Yangon Regions, Eastern Shan and Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Hakha, (8°C) in Heho and (9°C) each in Pinlaung and Ranthlo. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (0.71)inch, Kawthoung (0.35)inch and Putao (0.08)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists.Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway and Bago Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of isolated rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region.
