SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below November average temperature in Yangon Region, (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in (Northern and Southern) Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Eastern Shan States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Heho and Ramthlo, (6°C) in Loilin, (7°C) each in Pinlaung and Tiddim.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamilnadu coast (India) moved to Tamilnadu coast (India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southeast Bay and West central Bay and generally fair over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Malay Peninsula has become unimportant.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Shan and Kayah States.
