SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State, Scattered in Kayin State, isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway and Bago Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Kayah and Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (2°C) above December average temperature in Bago Region, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Southern Shan and Kayin States, (5°C) to (6°C) above December average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Kayah and Mon States and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Ramthlo, (5°C) in Putao, (7°C) in Heho, (8°C) each in Manchanbaw, Falam, Tiddim and Tongzan. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myawaddy (0.75)inch, Myeik (0.51)inch, Mongyang, Dawei and Kawthaung (0.04)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th December, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State, scattered in Bago Region, Shan and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
