BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Rakhine State, isolated in Magway Region, (East and South)Shan and Kayah States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely attimes Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon and Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 8) feet in Gulf of Mottama, Mon and Taninthayi Coasts, about (3 - 5)feet in Deltaic and Rakhine Coasts.
