SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Mon State, scattered in Bago and Yangon Regions, Eastern Shan and Kayin States, isolated in Ayeyarwady Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (2°C) above December average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Mandalay and Bago Regions, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) each in Hakha and Ramthlo, (4°C) in Putao, (7°C) in Tiddim, (8°C) each in Manchanbaw, Heho and Falam. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Hpapun (1.10)inches, Coco Island (0.43)inch, Myeik (0.35)inch, Mongyang (0.28)inch, Theinzayet and Kawthaung (0.23)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th December, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
