BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Mon State, fairly widespread in Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, Mon and Taninthayi Coasts about (4 - 6) feet in Rakhine Coast.
