23-11-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on 24-11-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and  North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, isolated in Kachin and Chin States. Weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above January average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions and Kayah State, (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin and Chin States and about January average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Nyaung Shwe, (6°C) each in Thipaw and Pinlaung and (7°C) in Naungcho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Mawlaik (0.24)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th January, 2019: Rain will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Northern Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
