SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Southern Shan and Kayin States and (2°C) below February average temperatures in Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States, about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Pinlaung, (4°C) each in Namsam, Heho and Mongyang, (5°C) in Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few clouds over the East central Bay and generally fair over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th FEBRUARY, 2018: Rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
