25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Kayah States, (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Thipaw, (7°C) each in Loilin and Monyang.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th February, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Chin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Northern Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated to scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
