25-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca has intensified into a depression. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 50 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 260 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  470 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Extreme Southern parts of India, Comorin Area and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and Sri Lanka now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours.    . Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON  OF THE 12th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be a few cloud to partly cloudy  in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
