Weather is a few cloud the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above April normal temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) above April normal temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Southern Shan, Chin and Kayah States, (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (45°C) in Chauk and (43°C) in Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.08) inch each in Myitkyina and Mogaung and (0.04) inch each in Tamu and Gangaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
