26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Magway Region, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures wereabout April normal temperature in Kachin and Rakhine States, (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and (3°C) to (4°C) above April normal temperatures in the remaining Regions and States.The significant day temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk and (43°C) each in Gangaw and Bawlakhae, (42°C) each inMingin, Monywa, Myinmu, Myingyan, NyaungOo, Tada U, Magway, Taungdwingyi, Pauk, Sinbyugyun, Taunggu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kawthaung (0.36)inch, Mogaung (0.24) inch, Pyinoolwin (0.12)inchand Putao, Monyin and Pinlaebu (0.08) inch each.

BAY INFERENCE:Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over theAndaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th April, 2019:Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and KachinState and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
