BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 19th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be , scattered in Lower Sagaing , Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan (East and South) State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing   Region, Northern Shan, Chin, Kayah and Kayin States and widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady  Taninthayi , Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States with likelihood of  regionally heavy fall in  Rakhine state and isolated heavy falls in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions,. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet in Deltaic and Rakhine Coasts and (4 - 6) feet in Gulf of Mottama and Mon - Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States.
