BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 21st June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet in Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Continuation of strong monsoon.
