29-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 175 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 45 Nautical miles West-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards across Northeastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and near South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy  over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and A few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong  over the Andaman Sea  South Bay and Eastcentral Bay and moderate elsewhere in the  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin ,Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Shan, Chin,  States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and  States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin Southern Shan StateS. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:   Squalls with moderate to rough  Seas are likely at times  off and along  Myanmar coasts.Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)mph. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet  off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
