BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and vigorous elsewhere in Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Magway Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate to rough elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9 -14)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and about (6-9)feet in Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States.
