1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th August, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in  Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing and  Magway Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Kachin and  Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in  Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Kachin, Kayin and Mon States.
