25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong  over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENINGOF THE 7th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Shan (East and South) State, scattered in Mandalay Region, Northern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Tanintayi  Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times  off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h.  Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet  in  Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Mon States.
