29-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and crossed Andhra Pradesh Coast, near South Kakinada, India. It is likely continue to move Northwestwards and downgrade into a Cyclonic Storm during next 6 hours and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th JANUARY, 2018: Rain will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA:  Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
