BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw Sagaing Mandalay , Magway Regions and Kackin state, fairly widespread in Shan (North and East) State, widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Taninthayi Region, and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon -Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, along Mon - Taninthayi Coast and (5 - 7)feet in Rakhine Coast.
