SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Mandalay Region, scattered in Magway Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine and Kayin States and isolated heavy falls in Magway and Yangon Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.31) inches in Central Yangon, (5.16) inches each in Maungdaw and Sittwe, (3.50) inches in Myauk U, (3.34) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (3.20) inches in Kyeikdon, (2.95) inches in Okkan, (2.44) inches in Yangon(Mingaladon), (2.40) inches in Hmawbi, (2.36) inches in Hlegu, (2.16) inches each in Zaung Tu and Taunggu(Avia-Met), (2.04) inches in Putao, (2.01) inches each in Ngathaichaung and Kyeikkhame, (1.89) inches each in Mogaung and Yangon(North Dagon), (1.85) inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye) and (1.81) inches in Taungdwingyi.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Northern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 -9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
