FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 21stAugust, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan (North and South), Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h.
