BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 27th August, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Kayah  States and widespread in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan(East and South), Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions,Kachin,Chin,Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with  rough seas will be experienced  at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35 - 40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-11)feet in along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
