6-1-2026:   According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining east Equatorial India Ocean still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 30th August, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay and Yangon Regions, Chin State, widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions ,  (southern -Shan) and  Kayin States. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7)feet in along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Shan States.
