3-9-2025::  According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 31st August, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan State, widespread inNaypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of  isolated heavy falls in  Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7)feet in along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate Monsoon.
