21-5-2025: Southwest monsoon has advanced into the Central Myanmar areas and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Eastcentral and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th September, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw and Shan State, scattered in  Kayah State, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions and Kayin and Mon states  widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin ,Chin and RakhineStates with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in  Rakhine State. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8)feets in along  Myanmar  Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of withdrawal of southwest monsoon from the Central Myanmar areas.
