21-5-2025: Southwest monsoon has advanced into the Central Myanmar areas and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Eastcentral and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th OCTOBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in  Kachin and Northern Shan States, scattered in Sagaing, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region, (Eastern & Southern) Shan and Kayah States and widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin and Rakhine States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
