It is centered at about 645 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 420 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 605 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay,  partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 23rd OCTOBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing , Magway and kayin  State, scattered in Taninthayi Region and fairly widespread in Naypyitaw,  Mandalay,  Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States and widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in  Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8)feet in along Rakhine Coast and about (4 - 6)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
