SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Mon States, scattered in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State and widespread in Kachin, Eastern Shan and Kayin States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Pinlaebu (1.22)inches, Kengtung (1.07)inches, Belin (0.51)inch, Bhamo, Monyin and Kunlong (0.48)inch each and Hpa-an (0.43)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th OCTOBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan and Kayah States and fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, (Southern & Eastern) Shan, Kayin and Mon States.
