SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing and Yangon Regions and Southern Shan State, scattered in Bago Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Ayeyarwady Region, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Eastern Shan and Kayah States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Tharyarwady (2.25)inches, Launglon (1.54)inches, Kyeikmayaw (1.46)inches, Loikaw (1.22)inches, Hinthada (0.98)inch and Thandaunggyi (0.85)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th OCTOBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kachin and Southern Shan States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region, Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in Taninthayi Region.
