SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past

(24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Southern Shan and

Kayah States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago and Yangon

Regions and isolated in Naypyitaw and Mon State, weather has been generally fair

in Sagaing Region and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and

States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperatures in

Upper Sagaing Region and (2°C) above November average temperatures in

Mandalay and Bago Regions,Shan (East and South) State, (3°C) above November

average temperatures in Kayah and Mon States and about November average

temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night

temperatures were (6°C) in Hakha and (10°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amounts

of rainfall recorded were Coco Island (0.62)inch, Naypyitaw Airport (Ela) (0.43)inch

and Nyaung Shwe (0.35)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (13:30)hrs MST today, the low

pressure area over the Andaman sea still persists. Weather is generally fair over

the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere

over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th NOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or

thundershowers will be scattered in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions,

Shan,Kayah and Mon States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway

and Taninthayi  Regions, Rakhine and Kayin States. Degree of certainly is (80%).

Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at

times off and along Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and Mon - Taninthayi Coasts. Surface

winds speed in easterly winds may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Seas will be slight to

moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8)feet in

off and along Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and Mon - Taninthayi Coasts and (3-5)feet

in off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Shan and Kayah

States.
