It is likely to move west–northwestwards towards Sri Lanka and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean during next 24 hours.  Weather is  partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and over the South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
