BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today,
the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay and adjoining Eastcentral
Bay of Bengal still persists over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. Weather
is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and partly cloudy over the
Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th NOVEMBER, 2017:
Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Shan (North and East) State,
fairly widespread in Mandalay Region, scattered in Nyapyitaw, Lower Sagaing,
Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Kayah
States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainly
is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at
times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface winds speed in squalls may
reach (30-35)m.p.h.Wave height will be about (6 - 8)feet in Myanmar coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood continuation of
scattered rain or thundershowers in Shan State.
