SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin, Kayin and Mon States, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) above December average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, (Eastern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah and Kayin States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (8°C) in Namsam, (9°C) each in Hakha, Tiddim and Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Kawkareik (0.24)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th DECEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
