SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C) below February average temperatures in Yangon Region and Kayin State, (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin and Mon States, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Namsam, (1°C) in Heho, (2°C) each in Pinlaung and Hakha, (3°C) each in Thipaw and Loilin and (4°C) each in Mongyang and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd FEBRUARY, 2018: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region, (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
