SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Kachin State, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperature in Northern Shan State, (3°C) above February average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (2°C) above February average temperature in Mon State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Thipaw, Namsam, Loilin and Hakha, (6°C) each in Lashio, Pinlaung and Tiddim.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North and East central Bay of Bengal and a few clouds over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th FEBRUARY, 2018: Likelihood of isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
