SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Eastern Shan State, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State, (4°C) above February average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (2°C) above February average temperature in Kachin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) each in Heho and Loilin, (6°C) each in Thipaw, Namsam and Hakha, (7°C) each in Pinlaung, Mongyang and Tiddim.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea and East central Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th FEBRUARY, 2018: Rain are likely to be scattered in Kachin State and isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain in Kachin State.
