SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) above February average temperatures in Bago Region, Eastern Shan and Kayah States and (2°C) above February average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Mon States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Putao and Heho, (7°C) each in Thipaw and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the East Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th FEBRUARY, 2018: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
