28-5-2024:According to the observations at (06:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression has crossed to the Northwest of Dhaka(Bangladesh) and moved North-Northeastwards and weaken into a Land Depression. It is forecast to move East-Northeastwards and weaken into a Low Pressure Area during next (6)hrs. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and strong to vigorous over the Eastcentral and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few clouds over the East central Bay and generally fair over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th FEBRUARY, 2018: Rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA:  Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain in Taninthayi Region.
