SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay and Magway Regions, (Eastern and Southern)Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures in Mandalay and Magway Regions, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Yangon Region, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (4°C) each in Thipaw, Pinlaung and Mongyang. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Myeik (0.43)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and North Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st FEBRUARY, 2018: Rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
