SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Rakhine State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin States, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Rakhine, Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) in Hakha, (9°C) each in Kyaukmae, Loilin, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke and (10°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.31) inch in Putao, (0.24) inch in Maungdaw, (0.12) inch in Myebon and (0.08) inch in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd November 2023: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Taninthayi Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State.
