SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Eastern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (39°C) each in Chauk and Aunglan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Putao (0.35)inch and Machanbaw (0.08)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th MARCH, 2018: Rain will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (2 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
