SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Kachin State and weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) below March average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (40°C) each in Nyaung Oo and Magway. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Putao (0.43)inch and Machanbaw (0.39)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th MARCH, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
