1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 9th MARCH, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in  Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (2 - 4) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
